Resources and Education Pathways - Next steps for Tech-Moms

Updated: Dec 10, 2022

As the Tech-Moms program is primarily a launching pad for your next steps, you will likely need more education and training (especially if you are pursuing a technical role). We have compiled a list of relevant programs at a variety of institutions, including colleges and tech colleges, boot camps, and online programs. THIS LIST IS NOT COMPREHENSIVE, and it may not be up-to-date. But it will give you some great ideas on where to start looking for your next step in getting the training and education you need.

(Please note--we are not endorsing any specific program. Please do your research to choose the program that's right for you.)

My name is Ilene Morris and I have been out of work for 5+ years due to an accident. I lost my father last year, had a stroke during this time as well. I want to join a tech career but I am scared I don't have what it takes anymore. I tried to apply to apprenti but I couldn't pass the assessments. You website was given to me by Mike Sarels at USU. I have been certified to work from home but I don't know if I would fit in the tech world. I didn't want to apply because I didn't want to waste anyone's time, as I know you are extremely busy, but if someone could contact me…
